Engineer
I hold a Master’s degree in Advanced Electronic & Electrical Engineering from Brunel University London, where I graduated with Merit. My background includes electrical engineering, embedded systems, microcontrollers, instrumentation, sensors, and control systems. Before joining the Institute of Process Imaging, I gained industry experience at Hitachi Energy, learning about the workings of power systems, smart grids, HVDC, FACTS, energy storage, and grid modernization.
At the Institute of Process Imaging, my work focuses on the development of electrical and electronic systems for MRI and NMR process-imaging applications. My responsibilities include developing innovative MRI coil designs, such as coil arrays, microcoils, surface coils, and digitally acquired coils with integrated ADCs. Additionally, I am involved in the installation, maintenance, and repair of acquisition hardware, including RF and gradient amplifiers.
