Engineer
Ria is currently also a PhD student at the UMC Utrecht. She has 10 years of experience as an RF engineer with hardware development for MRI in both industry and academia. Her interests include multi-resonant hardware design including simulations of the RF safety and performance while targeting different nuclei, subjects and organs.
Her recent work includes a receive array for MR thermometry integrated into a hyperthermia neck coil, a tongue coil for phosphorus metabolite spectroscopy for oral cancer and proton/ phosphorus dipole arrays.
