Engineer
I studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Applied Science in Aachen in a dual system in cooperation with the Saurer GmbH & Co. KG, where I worked as an Engineer in the R&D department. For my bachelor’s thesis I moved to their R&D-office in Suzhou, China, for 6 months and created practical concepts for a new tube gripping system for the spinning machine Z71/Z72. After my bachelor’s degree I chose to focus on mechanical product development within the master’s program of the University of Applied Science in Aachen and finished it with a thesis about creating theoretical concepts for masts for starting and landing at SkySails Group GmbH. Now I am responsible for taking care of the mechanical parts of the institute.
